Glenn Toth uses Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer for 1995 Mazda Miata MX-5

I recently purchased a 1995 Mazda Miata MX-5 Miata sports coupe. After the purchase I noticed loud hydraulic lifter noise on start up and after a highway run. Logging onto the Miata.net bulletin board I found that this Lifter noise is very common to Miatas. A combination of oil filter and oil viscosities is supposed to help the problem.

I tried everything I could to eliminate the noise: Oil weights, expensive filters, additives, etc. NONE WORKED! I then tried your Oil Stabilizer. I added a pint to four quarts of oil. I now have no more lifter noise- ever! Not on start-up or after a hard drive.

Thank you for a great product! I am going to tell all the other Miata owners how your product saved my engine and ended months of frustrating lifter noise.
